Crowd control barriers:
The 10’x4’ crowd control barriers are fabricated from steel pipe and covered with diamond mesh wire. They can be interlinked with one another and be used to construct:
- Secure du- and triathlon transition areas
- Secure finishing chutes for running events
- Crowd control in general
- Access and exit control
- Instant and temporary fencing
The barriers are designed to be athlete-, spectator- and sponsor friendly:
Athlete friendly:
The steel crowd barriers at the perimeter of a du- or triathlon transition area or at a finish chute of a running event protect the athlete and their equipment from public and spectator interference and obstruction.
Spectator friendly:
In contrast to the “police type” crowd barrier used in most sporting events (and for crowd control in general) our crowd barriers are designed with spectator comfort in mind. Spectators can lean on the barriers with their forearms and have enough space on the ground to move their feet and legs into an offset position - taking strain of the lower back. This allows spectators to spend tireless hours watching the action.
Sponsor friendly:
The barriers allow a vast variety of promotional material to be displayed. Full size promotional banners (4 foot high by unlimited lengths) are attached to the frame of the barriers with cable ties. Smaller banners and logos of all sizes can be tied to the diamond mesh wire surface of the barrier.
The angle that the barrier forms with the ground allows a better visual impact of the attached promotional material to the spectators present at the event and to the TV audience.

Bike Racks and numbers
Tritanium Sports offers the traditional bike racking system with a steel top rail from which the bikes are hanged, using either the handles or seat. Every row is alphabetically marked and each participant’s racking position is individually numbered to correspond with the individual’s participant number.
The transition is fully fenced in and filled with row upon row of bike racks with enough room and wide isles for easy entrance and exit. Cyclists mount and dismount at the exit of the transition area.

Finishing structure:
Tritanium Sports uses a metal H-frame finishing structure. It provides an ideal branding opportunity. A3 sized signs with sponsor’s logos are displayed on this frame. Due to its size the structure is clearly visible from a distance to both athletes and spectators.
The frame is often used as back drop by both official and media photographers.
